Jette Memorial Scholarship

In December 2019, 15-year old Della Jette and 16-year old Sterling Jette, Jr. were tragically killed in a senseless act of violence at their home in Watertown, Connecticut.

Della and Sterling, Jr. were both athletes, hard-working and good scholars who resided in the Town of Watertown. They both were members in our WAYS program and exemplified the scholar-athlete.

In 2020, WAYS created the Annual Jette Memorial Scholarship to honor Della and Sterling, Jr.  The scholarship is awarded to one (1) boy and one (1) girl annually in the WAYS program and the recipients will receive a full season (fall and spring) of soccer registration fees waived.
